Every life matters

Calculating the damages, of work done by savages
So many things we've endured without knowing the grades of damages
Because we're blind to our own truth and heritage,
We seek solace in the midst of siege..

Black pride we call it
Even when we can, we've been told we can't do it
Stripped of our own very color
We start to live without honor
Afraid of what might be when we speak
We became a subject to bully.

Every life matters
Be it black, white, Latinos
That's when we can wake without the explosion of a grenade
If we can live as one,
We'll survive as one.
